The International Day of Happiness, celebrated on March 20th, was established by United Nations General Assembly in 2012, with a resolution adopted by all 193 member states that, recognizing the pursuit of happiness as a fundamental human goal, aims to give happiness a greater priority.

Every year, on this day, many international and local organizations around the world gather up and coordinate to promote happiness and positive thinking through international campaigns.

This year campaing #HappySoundsLike, in collaboration with MixRadio, invites people to embrace the power of music and the joy of sharing it to create the world’s happiest playlist, in conjunction with a host of globally-known artists and public personalities, from Ban Ki-moon to Charlize Theron, from Michael Douglas to John Legend.

So, today, smile, sing, dance and celebrate International Day of Happiness, go to www.happysoundslike.com and share your favourite happy song.
